Conferences

Each year, our group participates in select conferences, including Essentials of Emergency Medicine (HIPPO Education) and Emergency Medicine Update (North York General).

Through our affiliation with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University (NOSM U), our members attend Northern Constellations—NOSM U’s Annual Faculty Development Conference; and NOSM U’s Pan Northern Clinical Rounds.

Courses, Workshops, and Seminars

Our department organizes courses, workshops, and seminars to take place in North Bay. We host ACLS, NRP, and PALS courses multiple times per year to keep members up-to-date.

Recent seminars and workshops include: “Principles of Plastic Surgery” (Dr. Sanjay Azad, CEPD Unit of NOSM); and “Physician Burnout: Prevention and Recovery” (Dr. Lisa Belanger, ConsciousWorks).
